An Experienced Professional Geotechnical Engineering Consultant and Geologist
As owner and principal engineer of FREIBERG GEOTECHNICAL INC., Daniel Freiberg, P.E., P.G. has served as a geotechnical consultant to many of Atlanta’s top builders, general and specialty contractors, structural engineers, architects, and homeowners. Prior to establishing FREIBERG GEOTECHNICAL, INC. in 2000, Mr. Freiberg served with established geotechnical and environmental consulting firms in the Washington D.C. and Greater Atlanta regions, and with mineral exploration companies in the Southwestern U.S. early in his career. Mr. Freiberg typically works with one experienced part-time assistant. Mr. Freiberg keeps up with the latest code and technical information in order to meet the requirements of Professional Registration.
Mr. Freiberg received a B.A. in Geology at S.U.N.Y Binghamton in 1975, an M.S. in Geoscience from the University of Arizona in 1979 and an M.S. in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1989. He is a Georgia-Registered Professional Engineer (#22111) and Professional Geologist (#780). Other certifications include ICC Residential Combination Inspector (#5186571-R5) and Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission Level IB Certified Inspector. Mr. Freiberg is included on the list of authorized third-party engineer-inspectors in Fulton, Forsyth, Gwinnett Counties (Georgia), and other Metro Atlanta jurisdictions.
